It's a bad bill as written. It also has 146 co-sponsors from around the country, pointing a finger at NY is non-productive.
America's Red Rock Wilderness Act was originally introduced in 1989 by Utah Congressman Wayne Owens. This bill has been re-introduced every year since 1994.
