Door windows
Alright I've tried FAQ and a search. How do I remove the windows from my doors? We're down to removing the little stuff in thhe cab now and I would like to remove everything from the doors before taking them off.
please

Re: Door windows
IIRC you roll it down, remove the wing window (by turning it sideways after removing the 2 screws on the front and the lower bolt), then slide it forward off the regulator rollers. next lift it up and tilted to the inside.
I may be a little (or alot) off on this. can someone either prove me wrong or verify this? its been a couple years since I did mine. |

Re: Door windows
Sounds right but I thought I tilted mine to the out side away from the body curv. But once you get to this point it will come out. You may also want to remove your findow felts. The kind of side out and up to get them out. This will make getting the window even easier to remove once the vent is gone.

Re: Door windows
You should check the FAQ on window regulator replacement, it's there.

Re: Door windows
K I looked at the faq in your signature and it was there, I wonder why it never showed up when I searched for it

I walked out and looked, three screws on top on the leading edge of the door post and you have to remove the door panel to get to the bolt or nut at the bottom of the window guide. Last edited by mr48chev; 10-20-2009 at 03:54 PM. |
