I know what you mean. Mine is my daily driver too... but if you want an auto, we can get together one weekend and trade. I don't know what type of tools you have, but the only thing I'm needing for a tranny swap is that adapter for my jack.

Sure we can do that!! I have a spare bedroom well Its my ManCave with a futon I can put you up in. Wifes a pretty good cook too. The column I have does have some play in it but I never had it stick. In fact it speed shifts quite nicely. I dont think any of it is going anywhere so shouldnt be a problem. theres not a real big market for these things. I can take some pics if you want. Let me know.

Thats for a SM465 which is a 4 on the floor. Is that what your wanting? Mine is a 3 speed with a column shift. Ill try to take some pics tonight. The tranny is ditry and funky from being 30+ years old but it works good.

Oh... I must've misread that post...I thought it was for a 3 on the tree... 3 on tree is what I'm wanting.

Yeah lots of people call that a 3 speed cause all you really use is 2nd 3rd and 4th. No biggy.
