Question about clearance issue

i have a 79 2wd blazer. not sure but i think it has drop spindles on the front. the tires in front are about 3 1/4" front the top if the INNER fenderwell not the outer fender lip. if i cut 1 coil off, will i have a clearance issue with the tire hitting the inner fenderwell or will it still roll and drive ok besides the stiffer front end? thanks for the help
