Trailing Arm Question........

I recently bought a short frame for my '71 from a friend, but he also wanted me to haul off a long frame. The long frame has trailing arms and springs on the rear, every thing else is gone. My question is what are these trailing arms and springs worth if anything, I will probably scrap the frame in a week or two, but not for sure yet. I would post them on parts section of this site, but with out a price , the site police would probably delete the posting. Any info. would be helpfull, Thanks Shawn

Everything has value. I reecently bpought a 72 lwb parts truck for my brother. He needed ther fame since he found his was bent from a prvious accident. I gave $200 for the whole truck, sold the bed for $200, kept a few parts and gave the frame to my bro. Who knows who might need one!

The springs seem to be quit a bit larger than the stock springs on the short frame. Did any of the 3/4 trucks have coil springs? I figured the springs would be worthless, but the trailing arms are in perfect cond. and I hate to scrape them, would rather sell to somebody who can use them.

Remove the trailing arms have them blasted tuck them away in the rafters for a rainy day if they don't sell. They won't take up much room.

Being from the north we can get around $100 to $125 a peace in good cond.

I don't want to screw anybody, just looking to make a buck or two to help with my project. I was recently laid off so I am trying to get what I can for the extra parts I have.

in texas, they won't be worth much, up here, they are gold. I have seen the actually snap on trucks up here. No one wants to ship them, and the buyers never want to pay for shipping.
