67 Panel Undergoes Changes
Before Front
After Another Rear Before Rear After Before Side After We swapped on a new steel cowl hood, dropped those big late model mirrors for a set of Curved arm peep mirrors, pulled the rear bumper ( Steel Landing Pad ) and swapped on a new sport bumper, replaced all front and rear suspension and steering parts down to even the washers with new and put on 2 1/2" front drop spindles with 1" drop springs and a 6 lug disc brake kit, and for the rear we put on all new rear trailing arms, 4" rear drop springs, adjustable pan hard bar, rear shock relocators and 4 new Gas-A-Just shocks al around and then we slid some 15"X10" aluminum rims with 275-60-15 tires on all 4 corners of it. Rather happy with the changes so far. GMCPaul Last edited by GMCPaul; 04-14-2003 at 07:46 PM. |

I like the cowl hood much better.Looks like it is coming along.I see from the pic of the rear that the interior doesn't have a headliner.I was wondering how you like having your very own drum to drive?

Looks great ! What color are you planning on painting it? I think it would look awesome in gloss black, and even better if it had a big-block lurking under the hood .

Those are cool as hell. I've only seen one (junk yard) but it was rusted beyond restoration.

I like the hood also and love the stance, not sure on the color yet for it, but do know its getting a fresh 350/350 combo now and we hope to later go with a 502/700R4 later on. PanelDeland I love having my own drum ( Drums I should say considering how many I have )
Have yet to decide on a interior for it, for now it'll get fresh carpet up front and all wires replaced front to rear, and we plan on going with one of our 7" high performance dual diaprham booster master cylinder set-ups and SS brake lines. That will probably be as far as I get before 71Chev drives it out to Carlisle this year. He is pressuring us for the 502CI motor now!!! LOL he likes the go pedal!!!! GMCPaul |
