Two Fuel Cells?
Yep.... it's an odd question. Can I have a fuel cell between the rails, and one in the bed and still be race legal? If so, I would like to plumb the top as the fill tank for both, with the bottom being plumbed for EFI. I'm not up on the rules and plan to buy the rule books for 2010. I'm targeting 30-40 gallons.
69 2wd swb 3500-3700lbs guess slicks moving weight to the back 600-900hp Please advise if this is a pipe dream. Oh, where I live the DOT approval is not as enforced as other states. Thanks. |

It's a combination of semi long trips, and having enough fuel in the tank not to starve the efi pump. I've also considered a swirl pot/surge tank, low pressure and high pressure pump, but wanted some ideas first.

I would think a 16 to 20 gallon would be plenty. I know some guys run one cell for the motor with lower octane fuel and a small cell with higher octane fuel for the nitrous.
