Re: Sneak Peek - next Lks Dcvn project
Alright- got some more pix today.
I spent the day going over every interior inch with my trusty bottle of simple green. I got plenty of pix. |

Re: Sneak Peek - next Lks Dcvn project
more rust pix and the tire size...
Curious to see what is under the steel plates in the back, but want to start rust repair first and brace it up before doing that - I want to just drive this thing though. Too bad it is going from bad to worse here soon. Freezing Rain and Snow this/next week. |

Re: Sneak Peek - next Lks Dcvn project
Or a tub swap if I can find one in decent shape out West...and have Mike [Fine69] bring it back with him next time he heads out that way...
As mentioned - there is no slack or sag in the doors at all and shut and latch perfect. As mentioned the top is perfect - that is probably keeping everything in line for now. I will be working on my Blue 4x4 this winter so I will get some rust repair time in with the welder - |

A little crusty but still a great find. Can't wait to see more progress on this one!

[highjack on]
Is position 1 the correction seatbelt mounting location for utility buckets and position 2 the correct seatbelt mouning location for regular buckets? [highjack off]

Great question - as a comparison...
Here is a shot of one of my other trucks with the 'Blue Bucket Vinyl' listed on the SPID. |

Re: Sneak Peek - next Lks Dcvn project
Windshield area is pristine actually (inside and outside) -
As mentioned - I don't think the top has ever been off this thing...it looks like it is in too good of shape to have been moved around much in the past 40 years. |
