I saw this truck in Antioch yesterday at the bowling alley
I wonder if it belongs to anybody here. It was a nice driver.

That would be a great platform to start a resto or just drive it. Did these trucks come in an orange color or is that a paint job done somewhere in its 40+ year life?

Yes, the color was called Omaha Orange it started in 1960 and carried through the line in a few varying shade but real close to the original. I can't tell if that color is a shade of the OEM color but that was what the original shade was called on the Chevy and GMC's.

haha antioch i was workin in that area for 5 months... worked in rodeo at the coneco phillips refinery, and had my motel in martinez.......till i got laid off....damn i miss those $2,500 a week checks...

Yeah i bet you do! If i had the chance to work for that much money for a couple months i would have a bunch of stuff payed off

yea so when i got laid off i bought my truck, a 59 impala project, and i had my 455 in my 70' gsx rebuilt
