Yo! That's what I inherited with my free 3/4 ton 4x4, and I immediately changed it out using the TH400 and a machined twin-stick NP205, combined with a Dana 44 with Warn locking hubs,...what a fantastic combination! Only better would be an OD tranny.
Sourcing the parts took me awhile, but now I know where the tranny output shaft can be got as well as the altered NP205 and TH400/NP205 adapter.
