90 burb 33/12.50s clearance issue
Hey guys. Ok my brother has a 88 burb and he is going to scrap it but before he does im taking the set of 33/12.50 Toyos he has (less than 500 miles). When we put them on his truck we had to cut out the wheel well in the front because it has stock susp. No body lift or anything. Now my burb is the same no lift as of now. I am planning on going with 37.5's and with a 6in susp lift but am not ready to do that. Plus i think that much of a lift with the 33's would look terrible. So what im asking is if i put 1" blocks on the front and back would that make it clear? Also with the 1" blocks would that effect the brake hoses enough to need to be replaced with longer hoses. Also, i know using blocks on front leafs isnt a good idea but being i would only try and use 1in at the most 2in would that create a problem? If i have to i will cut out the wheel wells but dont really want to. I am thinking maybe a small body lift but dont really love that idea either. Any ideas/suggestions would be great.
Thanks Matt PS: 88 white 1/2 burb 4x4 with strong 350/tbi being scrapped or sold out right The 700r4 is leaking for the second time around the torque converter seal. Had it replaced with the bushing inside as well as torque converter. Steering column has shorts. Has rust but i have seen worse. Taking offers now. On request i got pictures i can email.

Re: 90 burb 33/12.50s clearance issue
You can put zero rates up front, which will get you an inch, but I don't know if that will be enough to clear the 33's.

Re: 90 burb 33/12.50s clearance issue
I ran 12.50/33s on my`90 Blazer mounted on 10" wheels.I took it to a spring shop and had them arch the front springs to bring it up an inch or two. But,that was because of the 10" wheels, mostly, and to level the front up.12.50/33s should fit if mounted on 8" wheels.
