Bolt sizes for mounts?

Getting ready to swap in the 205 t-case. Need new bolts for the torsion mount/all4. And what size are the bolts for the transmission/adapter mount? Been looking, but don't know for sure, help?

Re: Bolt sizes for mounts?

Are you needing the size for the two large bolts that secure the mount to the side of the transfer case and than the two large bolts that secure that mount to the frame?

Yes, exactly what I'm looking for. Have the mount, just no bolts. Thank's Yukon.

Re: Bolt sizes for mounts?

The bolts that go from the mount into the transfer case fit a 15/16" socket - I don't have one where I can measure the actual thread diameter or length. If memory serves me, they are rather short, about 1" to 1 1/2" max.

The bolts that attach the bracket to the frame have a 3/4" head, the diameter of the threaded portion appears to be 1/2" and the overall length is 3 1/4".

Re: Bolt sizes for mounts?

I remember making a note to self when I was going to replace the bolts that secure the mount to the case itself; they are an odd size. I cannot recall what the size is but the common sizes you get at the hardware store are either too long or too short. I an not sure if the longer size would be safe or not, so I reused the old ones on mine. I would take one out and measure 4 u but truck is not accessible at this time. Hope this saves u a trip and possible damage, ie. internals not clearing the end of bolts.

Re: Bolt sizes for mounts?

I'm 99% sure those are blind holes so you should be able to measure the depth.
