Standard guage to tach swap-78 chevy

I bought a tach gauge cluster from BigJake on the board. It's from a 79 Blazer. The truck that it is going into is a 78 Chevy with standard gauges with electrical oil pressure switch.
Question- Is this a direct plug and play or does it require wiring modifications at the connector under the dash? The tach cluster comes with the tach wiring harness. Thanks.

The tach wiring harness is seperate from teh cluster harness. It will have 3 wires (IIRC), and plug in to the tach only. You may have to repin the cluster wiring. If you can get the pigtail from the donor, it will make everything a lot easier. The colors will be the same, but may be in different locations. You will probably have to swap temp and oil senders as well.

trace the circit board on both clusters and see if they are the same if so you are good 2 go if not re-pin to match
