Re: 50th annv poll
How do you identify a 50th by the VIN? I think I found one in a field. It's a LWB 3/4, big block, factory buddy bucket and it seems to have the right paint scheme.

Re: 50th annv poll
Correct me if I'm wrong. In 68 there was several trucks painted the ivory/gold paint with the trim package but that alone doesn't qualify it as a 50th. Besides the addition of the parchment interior what are the other clues of a 50th? A relative of mine had a 68 with the correct exterior but didn't have the correct interior. And was like the 2nd owner from around mid 70's. It was a 6 Cyl 3 spd/LB truck. I thought that they were all 327's??

Re: 50th annv poll
If I understand correctly, the trim must be 551 option in order to be considered a 50th, everything else would be the same as other trucks. They were the only model to get the gold interior and special gold cloth inserts on bench seats. This at least is the only thing I have seen that all have in common in the trucks/spids I have seen.
