Here's a bump for ya - I have a similiar setup as well - 69 C10 swb, CPP tubular A-arms, f/r sway bars, 4.5/6 drop and CPP c-notch. Looking to build a Pro-Touring type truck to throw around the curves. I was wanting to do some boxing myself and make my own crossmembers to stiffen things up. I know "Super73" (his board name) has some roadrace chassis building experience, but he usually hangs out in the high performance area. Thanks in advance for any information offered up!
