Wiper issue
My wifes 200 Blazer has developed a wiper issue. The drivers side just seems to have quit working. It tries to mo0ve but doen't.I think it may be the wiper arm/shft is stripped but I don't have any idea how to remove the wiper arm to check.I'm assuming it may just pry straight up like the earlier models but don't want to damage anything if it doesn't.
BTW It is the original arm but has had new blades quite often. Any ideas and TIA for any info.

Re: Wiper issue
My book says that it bolts on, maybe the nut backed off.

Re: Wiper issue
after you remove the arm take an O-ring pick and scrape the tapered splines clean.
did your wipers freeze to the windshield? I always free them when scraping my windows so this doesn't happen. BTW, to remove the arm I take off the cover, loosen the nut, swing the arm up and wiggle it loose. then remove the nut followed by the arm. |
