New to site.. Oregon gmc!

Hey i have been in love with this body style of trucks and I have been looking to buy one for a few years now. I finally came across my new 1969 gmc that i couldnt pass up. let me know what you guys think and if theres anyone close in oregon. I have been looking and searching on the site and i am in need of shorty headers, i have full length and almost hit the ground everywhere i drive. any brands or part #'s would be great.

from Hillsboro OR Beautiful truck! Here's a thread on headers for lowered SBC trucks. You'll find your swaybar answer the Suspension forum. If you don't find it by using the search function feel free to post a new thread topic.

Re: New to site.. Oregon gmc!

I'm just down the road from you in Roseburg. My dad picked up a set of shorty headers for his '71 SWB Chevy at the Portland Swap Meet. Got them for $75. I got a set of long headers for my '81 crew cab and they have the small collectors so hopefully they wont drag much.

You ever come down to Graffiti Weekend in Roseburg?

Re: New to site.. Oregon gmc!

It's usually around the 4th of July and its a weekend of oldies cars/trucks. There are a couple shows, races, poker run, cruises and so on. Saturday has a huge show-n-shine at River Forks Park and that evening is cruising galore! I think the 1973 is the limit for the show-n-shine.

Re: New to site.. Oregon gmc!

(58 gmc) your stance is perfect. i want a drop like that but i cant acheive that with a static. what air ride kit do you have. i have been looking into it. but i have leaf spring rearend and djm drop pockeet spindles up front so alot of $$$ is needed to drop it more, am i correct in saying that? and do you have any pics of front roll pans on gmc's? also what type of wheels are you running? any specs. sorry for the 20 ?'s. Thanks
