Anybody have any input on the tubular tie rod adjusters with jam nuts? What brand are you using any pros or cons? Sure looks cleaner! Just wondering if I want to spend that much money for em they seem kinda pricey. Thanks

Re: Tubular tie rod adjusters
I have a set from POL (www.performanceonline.com)
Several other companies make them. Check with board member CPPJEFF,... maybe he can get you a deal from CPP. He seems pretty generous right now. |

Re: Tubular tie rod adjusters
I have put the CCP ones on mine but haven't driven it yet. I used similar ones on my last '69 Camaro and they are the only way to go. Because of being a complete round piece, not split like the stock design, there is no flex and hence the steering feels just a little sharper when pushed hard. I also think they are easier to adjust, look better and don't have to deal with those darn clamps, which have been a PITA on past vehicles, when they get rusty.
My .02 worth.

From an adjustment standpoint they are super smooth and from a visual standpoint there is no second best. These things are not that pricey at all against what a set of original cost. These are made from 6061 T6, order your self a set today! Shoot me an e-mail.

Re: Tubular tie rod adjusters
Not hard to make. We make out of heat treated stainless steel. Any machine shop can make them easily.

Re: Tubular tie rod adjusters
I will sell you these adjusters for $49.00 a set. Thanks for the buisness, and although they are "easy" to make for $49.00 it cannot be worth the time it would take.
