rear axle not riding straight !
I hope I can fix my 71 Blazer, I towed a 7k lb tractor on a car hauler trailer with my blazer. Then I noticed when my wife drove it away the rear end seemed to be not tracking true! Do I need to take measurements from front axle to back on both sides and hope the back of the frame is not twisted?

Re: rear axle not riding straight !
I would look and the axle itself. It is entirely possible that the center pin is broken and the axle is shifted on the spring.
Measure from the spring bolt to the axle tube on each side.

^^ agree. I'd also check the bushing on the leaf perches themselves.

Re: rear axle not riding straight !
A lot of Chevy 4x4's "dog track". My 72 4x4 did it, and my 91 4x4 does it. Neither have been in an accident. I have heard from others that it is very common, although I have no proof to convince anyone that it is common.
