My 1973 project Suburban
I found this while driving through a neighborhood here in Anchorage last summer. I knocked on this guys door to see if he wanted to sell it and sure enough he did. It is super clean and only has a tiny bit of surface rust. The interior is perfect. It has a 454 that runs awesome and it drives like a Cadillac. Since it is a 3/4 ton, my plans are to convert it to a 1/2 ton and either do a static drop on it or bag it. My wheel of choice would be a set of 22" Centerline smoothie wheels. I am going to ditch the ugly towing mirrors for a set of the 91 style Suburban foldaway type mirrors. I dig the original paint and plan on leaving it alone for now. I am super excited and can't wait for summer to get here so I can get to work on it. Unfortunately, I don't have a garage otherwise it would be getting worked on now. I look foward to posting pics of my build on this site.
