How about 20's?
Hey guys I'm going to be running the CPP modular 2-1/2" drop spindles with 3" springs, maybe cut half a coil out as well. Will I be able to fit 20's with a 35 series tire under the inner fender without any rubbing issues?

I believe it will work. My 18's are about 26.5'' tall and I have a bit over an inch clearance. I think a 245/35/20 is about the same diameter. I would NOT cut the coil until you check your clearance

That's what I was thinking, wait and see before I cut the coil. What kind of offset should I run up front for the best clearance? Wow only an inch huh? That's cuttin it pretty close!

I would run at least 5'' .......mine are 5.25''bs and my 20's were 5.5''bs. I had no rubbing issues.

im running 20x8's with a 255/35/20 with zero rubbing issues, its ot 3 inch spindles and bags.

That sounds awesome. Thanks for the input guys! I was worried about ordering my wheels and tires and then come to find out "ah crap I'm rubbin!" Thats what I'm going to be running is probably 20x8 and 255 35. Out back I think I'm going 20x10 and 315 40 or something like that. Considering the Boss 338s or 336s in black.

Just wanted to add something I just thought about, too. I'm running conventional dropped spindles which widen the track width, about 3/4'' on each side. I'm not familiar with the specs on the modular spindles but you may want to check to see track width specs. If they do not widen track, then you may be able to run a little less backspacing.
I've heard there are fitment issues with the Boss wheels as they are for cars and do not fit the truck hubs as well. The issues can be overcome, but you may be doing some machine work or spacers to get 'em on. FYI.

I was told when I bought these spindles they are supposed to bring track width inward 1/2" inch. Some redesigned spindle that you get to spend more money on hmm I did not realize that with the boss wheels. If it's just a matter of machining the hub diameter that's no problem, but then again I haven't really done any research on these wheels yet. I'm sure someone on here has to have a set of 338's? Pretty simple, popular, torque thrust design..
