Things we'd like to do
So far so good, but its taken a long time to get there and the truck still isn't all one color. She runs great tho!
Heres a small but expensive list of non-essentials for the future... paint (Omaha orange) shoulder belts rear gas tank new deck (preferrably gumwood) 5-lug rear axles OR whole 71 or 72 3.07 rear end that is tighter than mine rear discs interior hood release I guess after all that I could say that I am finished, the rest is just regular maintenance. Not interested in high performance or burning rubber from a standstill. However I DO have a compcam 268 (slightly used) to install, but the engine runs so good it would be a shame to mess with it prematurely. Anyone have something they'd like to add to their list?

Some things that I have on my to-do list:
1. Fill holes on right front fender where CB and radio antennas were installed 2. Finish sanding and priming entire body 3. Paint truck original light green 4. Clean up engine compartment 5. Install new cam (probably Crane 272) 6. Rebuild Q-Jet 7. Install new heads (World Products S/R's or Pro Topline) 8. Get new exhaust installed (Dynomax Magna Flow's) 9. Polish and reinstall all original trim 10. Various other minor things |

Pull the front clip and cab to clean frame and paint.
New front end rebuild. Rust repair. New upholstery. New rear leaf springs. New chrome rear bumper. New gasket set for the motor to stop all the damn leaking oil. That's about it for now.

Back on topic:
Putting the "Pat's Project" 67 back together just the way she rolled off the assembly line except with a 72 5 lug rear and disk brake upgrade. This is a father/son project that's basically a rolling chassis right now, so my list contains about every item on the rebuild list.

I wonder if he means hybrid as in 'Ford/Chevy' *GASP*
Some day I want to get a GN Turbo 3.8L V-6 in the truck...that would be fun. But for now I will quit dreaming and focus on what I have to do --> New tranny!
