Re: lowest drop with 275/60s on all 4 corners

sorry for the crap pictures, but this is with 275/60/15's all around

this was with a 4/6 drop

the back was fine, but the front i had to roll the fenders on as it was taking chunks out of the tires when you hit a bump

Re: lowest drop with 275/60s on all 4 corners

I have a question. do you think i can fit a 4/6 with 275-45-R20? or would it bottom out on the fender or inner fender?

that would be an almost 30" tall tire. no way at all it would fit.

a 275 is too wide for the front of the truck when its lowered that much.

255/40/20 would be the max i would want to run up there, that would be the same height as a 275/60/15 (28" tall)

Re: lowest drop with 275/60s on all 4 corners

Here is my 79 on 275-60-15's on all four corners. They're mounted on 15x10's with 4in backspacing. I did a 5in flip in the back. I lowered the front by chopping a coil and a half. It works but it rides on the bumpstops. I plan on putting some dropped spindles on eventually. The most important part of fitting tires and wheels on any vehicle is backspacing. I think that I could go lower after rolling the fender lips but I have a rough driveway...

Re: lowest drop with 275/60s on all 4 corners
