Rockwell 3 spd Overdrive. When in overdrive, engine speed is reduced about 1/3 from third gear.

Unit is complete, but needs rebuild. Govenor needs new contact cap. When tested solenoid worked. This was my back-up unit.

From what I can tell, this is a synchro unit. Govenor cap and one mounting ear were damaged in shipment. How tough is it to break part of a mounting ear off? Pictures look as good as the unit!

You can use a regular three speed case to replace this one if you wanted.

Takes the place of a 3 on the tree of floor shift 3 speed. You might have to modfiy or source new shift rods, no big deal, I found them here on the forum. I have another working in my truck to show you how to hook it up and how it works.

Don't want to ship, it leaks fluid, is heavy, and you REALLY need to play with it first.

$ 250.00 plus freight.

curious......how does this compare to the 3 speed Saginaw with overdrive?

Same thing.

The Sagniaw transmission is the 3 spd portion.
The Rockwell R10 bolts in place of the tailshaft, and is a 2 spd on top of the above.
