Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

Welcome- You have a nice k10 their. Hmm I dodnt know if you can put a bigger tire on their without lifting it anymore. If you want more why not just lift it more? I got a 84 k10 with a 6'' lift and running 35's on it but, I want more height now. lol

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

hey thanks. yeah i should have gone with the 6in to begin with cause the lift is brand new. ive read that you can clear 37x13.50s with a 6in with no problem, but i cleared 35s before i even lifted it. just rubed the ouside fender when was turning hard enough to get some body roll. Even though i hate them. might be doing a body lift cause i want at least 37s

You can go bigger. But then you lose sheet metal.

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

I don’t think you’re going to be getting much bigger than a 35.

However, I’d be interested to see if you can clear 37’s on a 6”...I love to run that combo on the Sub.

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

I know for a fact about clearing 37's with a 6. you just gotta have the right offset wheels.

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

you can run 33/12.5 under a 4' kit on a 10wide wheel or 35/12.5 on a 8 or 8.5wide wheel, same goes for the 6' kit and 37's

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

Actually I completely clear my 37's on my 6" all spring lift. Wheels that i'm running are 17x9" "Ultra type 164" tires are 37x13.50r17 Toyo MT's, lift kit 6" Tuff Country. No blocks on rear axle.

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

my dad has 37 on a 4 inch, but he had to cut the corner on the front fender ( half inch or so) so he could turn with out rubbing

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

Yea I was gonna say always seen 4" lift and 35"s or 33"s unless you want to cut sheet metal off!

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

My 84 had 6" lift and 35", they rubbed on lite wheeling. I had 10" rims, but can't remember what the b/s was. They didn't stick out too bad, but enough to make them rub.

If you run the stock rally's with 4" 35s will fit, but IMO 10" rim they won't without trimming.

Re: Biggest tires on a 4 in lift.

I had a 4" lift on 35/12.5/15 BFGs and stock wheels. looked great. downsized to 33's so I could actually take the truck to Hollister Hills. I wouldnt run bigger than a 35" tire on a stock half-ton rear end
