fender and hood
I have a question....I have a '67 gmc grille/ radiator support, hood, and a driver side '68 fender.....so here is the question..will a '72 hood latch work on this set up?? and can I use a '69-72 fender for the passenger side also...thanks for any help you might have. Tommy

67 and 68 fenders with 67 and 68 hoods. In 69 they went to a different hood/fender line
The only difference in the 67 - 68 are marker lights, or actually reflectors. As far as the latch goes I'm not sure on that one

Are you talking about all GMC stuff?
67 thru 72 GMC fenders will fit, the '67 does not have the side markers, this is what the LMC reference book says. I don't know about the latch assembly, though. Danny

I call it the LMC reference guide, but it is really a catalog that is free from "LMCtruck.com".
I rarely order from them, but the catalog is a great reference when it comes to what will fit what trucks. The illustrations also show how some things go together. I have one for "67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks and the years before and after, that way I can tell what might be interchangeable. Danny

The 67-68 hood latch is different than the 69-72. The pin of the hood is further forward on the 67-68 than 69-72. Also the handle locations are different. WES
