Junkyard Score
Just thought I would share today's pick and pull score with you. I found this on an 82' SWB @ a pick & pull in Jessup, Md. If you are a local, then you know all about Crazy Ray's. I didn't reaize this was on the truck until all of the snow melted. Finally had a chance to go back with my buddy this morning and it was still there. Sport bumper for a fleet side with all of the brackets for 43 bucks and some change. It needs a good cleaning and has a few dents but, I thought it was worth it.

Re: Junkyard Score
well if you have good ones on your scrap pile its prolly a good idea once you come back from the sandbox to pull them off the scrap pile become a supporting member and then sell them here you will more than make your money back

Re: Junkyard Score
From what I can gather, these sport bumpers were options. I think the majority of these trucks came with step bumpers. I could be wrong though. It seems this is the look everyone is trying to achieve these days. I think it gives the truck a cleaner look like the front and rear of the square body Blazer.

Re: Junkyard Score
the step bumper and the sport bumper brackets are different...the truck sport bumpers and the blazer/suburban rear bumpers are the same or close...the outer bumper brackets from the blazer/suburban will work on a truck, but the inner brackets will not...

Re: Junkyard Score
If the step bumpers look like the one that was my truck I can see why they take them off. Mine looked like it had paint on but faded and chipped, that was the first thing I took off my truck. They may work for towing if you don't have a hitch. Mine is still sitting next to my shop with the brackets attached.

Re: Junkyard Score
It is just the opposite in my case. The only ones I see besides the ones on this forum, are all crappy step bumpers.
