Re: spid question

Se i thought was the special equipment. and a guess for order number is that a person ordered that truck, not just a generic build to a dealers lot.

Re: spid question

Longhorn Man, do you happen to know why the SE box is blank but special equipment items are still on the list below it? For some, the SE box is populated with a code (ie FT0757310), are these SE codes some kind of Dealer special equipment package?

Re: spid question

I have yet too find out what is considered special equipment. I had at one point thought maybe it was for special promotional things, like the highlander or the 50th annv trucks, but no dice. I have recently been wondering about the trucks that were COPO trucks, or gov contracted trucks, and maybe even the feathers or other 'sticker trucks'... but haven't looked into it.
I highly doubt that the SE is ever for a dealer's special thing, since the SE is filled at the factory.

Re: spid question

Now I know there are the option cod numbers and the option is listed on the spid but is there any way to find info on what the SE number would be for. The spid code indicates a green vin trin but it did have a cloth seat could this be the SE that I had on my truck as it did have all the stuff that the spid indicated it had? I'll see if I have a pic of the seat

Re: spid question

One observation I have made is that this box seems to be filled in on Canadian (Oshawa) built trucks only. Can anyone prove otherwise?
