I did a shackle flip this past weekend, and other than making a SH*T ton of noise, everything went fairly smoothly. I used the 4" kit from ORD, and the 1" Zero Rate Add-a-Leaf "block" they have and got just about the right amount of lift I was looking for. my goal was to get rid of the 6" block too. The only part that I would recommend is to also buy a longer shackle from either ORD or DIY4X, to pick up that last inch of lift. something of mention though, if you went with a 6" leaf spring lift in the back, your springs would be rather arched to obtain that lift, and a higher arched spring would cause a harsher ride. with the shackle flip, my ride is actually better than with the blocks.
