Re: 4 door suburban
I agree. A lot of money and time in that one. If wanting something like this, this is a steal. Trevor

Re: 4 door suburban
If you look at the front hubs, I'm pretty sure its a 4 X 4.

Re: 4 door suburban
what i mean is it wasn't chopped, slammed, molested, raped, pimped out or any of that crazy stuff. i see a truck with a fresh paint job and some nice wheels but looks like it rolled off the assembly line more or less. i like my burb being a 3 door but 4 doors is immensely practical. that truck just needs a flip second row seat and quick remove 3rd row and it will work as well as any modern burb serious use.
as for being a 4x4..... you might be right. what threw me off was i didn't see bulky leaf spring packs hanging down behind the front wheel in the close up pic. i prefer 2wd's for the ride, simplicity, cleaner under carriage and front wheels not sticking out, but if i needed a 4x4 i'd use the running gear from a later model gm truck with IFS and throw on the widest rear axle i could find. a converted to 4x4 with ifs and trailing arm rear suspension would be really cool.
