Camaro subframe airbag question
How large of an airbag can you fit inside of the 70-81 Camaro subframe and still get the required clearance all the way around the bag? I will already be trimming the side of the subframe for clearance, but I would like to go with the largest bag that will fit. I'm pretty certain that a 7" bag will clear easily, but was wondering if an 8" will work. I have decided on either Slam Specialties RE-7 or RE-8 bags.

The bigger the bag the better ride quality and less air pressure it takes to lift the truck. try to go as big as possible

If you can fit a 2600 firestone then a RE8 should fit. Check this chart out:
