First post, long time reader

Hello everyone,

I have been using this board for a long time and finally got time to post some of my projects and the progress I have made on them. I learned how to drive in a 72 cheyenne and ever since then have absolutly loved this style of truck. As soon as I started working I started to look for my first project truck and had stumbled into a couple since then. I started off with the black truck, I found it on Craigslist and traded straight across for an old Ford car I had bought for scrap. Two days after I got it someone I knew had the orange flatbed that they were wanting to get rid of so I bought it sight unseen and it turned out being a pretty good investment. It had a set of buddy buckets and a 327 with camel humps and a fresh turbo 400.

I traded for a set of rallye wheels and started figuring out what I was going to bolt together.

I traded the 292 out of my black truck for some help swapping parts across to make one truck. We pulled both trucks apart and did a real quick rattle can rebuild.

Twice a year a local group gets together and takes a road trip. They are always a good time and everyone looks forward to them all year long
