Got the Truck Back Today!

All I need to do now is spend a zillion hours of fitting the moldings, replacing the suspension, pulling the drivetrain and detailing the engine compartment and It'll be done!

Strange...same with me. I use to hate Olive Green and the truck I bought was two tone Olive Green. I now like it. Must be an age thing.

By the way ... your truck is looking very sweet!

Re: Got the Truck Back Today!

I've had a couple of trucks in both gold and ochre. The thing about it, the ochre just doesn't seem to be as common, and I liked having a truck that was somewhat different from the rest. At this point, I really don't care what color they are, as long as someone's taking care of them!

For the first time in forever, not a single 67-72 Chevy truck, Blazer, or Suburban on the property! Basically retired and getting the new Motorhome ready for some traveling. Doing a bit of work on the house getting it ready to sell! LOL!!

That color combo is great, especially the interior.

I got it painted by a guy that's about at the end of his rope. He actually had to quit half way through the job because of his health. It wasn't because of his love for doing great paint jobs. Let's just say, He's had a hard life. It took four more months than anyone expected and someone else had to finish it. I'm just glad he got his payment and it didn't kill him. I feel terribly that such talent might be gone soon.
