73+ steering wheel
I found a (I dunno what year, 73 or above, Its rubbery not plastic) Good looking steering wheel in the dump (yay free stuff). I was wondering if it would fit one of our trucks easily? My old one looks just plain ratty. I was also wondering how do you get the old steering wheel off, I popped off the horn button and took the nut off already and it wont come off (Yanked on it really hard)

You'l have to measure the shaft and I think they are 3/4 ". You will need a puller to get your old wheel off.

Do I need a special steering wheel puller? I tried using a regular puller and it keeps moving off the center. Any special trick to this?

I once had a puller with a solid center bolt. One old wheel was stubborn, so I put the puller in a strain (pulling) and hit the center bolt with a hammer. Wheel popped loose 2nd blow. Used penetrant also.
