Re: 67 c-20 in Nebraska

Thanks monte...

Got the engine pulled and stripped yesterday. Turns out there were no broke connecting rods. I did finally answer that age old question I know we all have muttered to ourselves "What's that noise coming from?" I lost all my main cap bearings and 5 or 6 rod bearings. The knock I placed on a broke connecting rod was actually where one connecting rod wore a 1/8" groove into the crank. Cylenders don't seem too scared up but I want to make sure they are still round. Good news is the block is only .020 over so there is still room to bore.
