i dont think manual tranny trucks are equipped with NSS
should b the two heavy purple wires

Yup. A 4-speed truck will engage starter in any gear. Just remember to keep your clutch foot in wnenever hitting starter. Otherwise there will be gnashing of teeth, and maybe weeping if you have to fix something.
