Fuel filler hose
Hey guys, I have installed a burban tank in my truck and am running the fuel filler hose to it. My plan is to leave the fuel door in the factory location on the bed (in front of the axle driver side), and run a filler hose along the frame to the back (about 7 feet). Is this a ok idea? Also, I am having a hard time finding the 1.75 inch hose to run. nobody locally has it. I did find it in Idaho Falls (45 minutes away), but it is $10 a foot. That seems a little stiff to me. All the local parts stores only sell 3 ft sections of it. Any ideas? Am i screwing up by running a 7 ft long filler hose? Has anybody done this? Thanks-

Re: Fuel filler hose
Allright, I looked at it last night and I dont think it will work. Where the filler neck comes through the bed it is in front of one of the large ribs on the bed. The hose or pipe would have to go under this then travel uphill to get to the tank, dont think gas runs uphill, right? So, I will either move the door to the back (like OJOE) or put it in the bed. still undecided. Thoughts?

Re: Fuel filler hose
I put mine in the bed. Speedway motors sells a nice filler. Here is the link.
