Good Deal?? 59 Suburban Napco

I have the option to buy a 1959 Chevy Suburban with the NAPCO 4X4, it has the original blue paint body is in decent shape tiny bit of rust in fenders, runs and drives good. Its really in good shape. He wants $3500 for it. How hard is it to get parts for the NAPCO if it has problems? Thanks sorry I know, I don't have any pics

I don't know that much about the NAPCO's, but my God those things are cool!!!

other than the running gear, I would imagine '59 burb parts are fairly easy to find. however I'll turn it over to the experts.

AND you may post your question over in the 4X4 section. I know I've read a few posts over there on NAPCOs.

good luck. would love to see some pics when you can!

iron

Not sure what your looking for or what you are into but I was going to build my 56 with all late model 4x4 running gear until I stumbled onto the NAPCO stuff. I found a complete set of running gear (for not much less than what you could get that entire truck for) and I am in the process of "upfitting" my truck just like they did back in the day.

My point is, I am kinda of "into" the NAPCO stuff and you do not see many of those old burb's that aren't all tore up. If it were me, I would jump... just my .2 cents....
check out the NAPCO site for further details. http://napco4x4.org/
