Re: Any difference in
I was wanting to know the same thing. I can get a sport paintable front bumper from a 78 and am wondering if it'll work on my 84? Will it look rite? Didnt mean to hi-jack bud.

Re: Any difference in
From everything I've read, the Burb/Blazer and Pickup "Sport" type rear bumpers are the same. The difference is in the brackets. The outer brackets will swap from Burb/Blazer to Pickup, but the inner ones won't, they're specific to the vehicle. It sounds like the inner brackets for pickups are hard to find and expensive when you do. I have heard several people saying they mounted a Burb/Blazer bumper on their Pickup using only outer brackets and didn't have any problems. YMMV

Re: Any difference in
Yes, the outer brackets are the same from blazer/sub to truck. The inners are different though. If you had a blazer/sub, the brackets on the inside are only 15.07 and 17.93 each, for the truck though they are 58.39 left and 58.39 right. They do show still available from GM though. Part #'s 14021342 (R) and 14021341 (L).

Re: Any difference in
no it wont look right, the 73-80 have more strait flow to it, whereas the 81-87 have a slight curve in the middle of the bumper, it will fit sure, but the flow wont look quite right, it wont fit into the front clip smoothly, just my $.02
