This thread will explain the grille differences

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...672#post371672

And as for the upper moulding, I was talking about the whole truck having the upper not the grille. I was worried that might cause some confusion when I typed it :p

Im not critisizing your truck in any way, just pointing out things I notice. :p :p you got a killer deal.

Hey, That looks like an outstanding deal for the price. Your road trip sounds like fun as well. 2:00AM in Portland! Not much going on and the bars are closed...LOL! If I happen to be down there that weekend I will buy you a cup of coffee. I assume you are leaving directly from the airport out 84. Post before you go in case you run into trouble along the way...might be a board member close by that can lend assistance.

Nice truck!. It's almost impossible to find a nearly rust-free truck here in Maryland, especially for that price.

Gee_Emm,
I think the upper molding is an option from the what I've been looking through. I found other 69 chevy trucks with this molding and I think it was option code B85. Does anyone have any different information?

That's a good deal anywhere in the country. Congrats.

The only thing that jumped out at me was the "eldERbrock manifold" :-)

It must have been made by eldebrock's grandfather.

Tom, lol.

Seams to me, what ever is used will have to used with care around the tires, so they don't get stained.
