Late model bed
I searched through the post on this topic but all i saw was post on step/sport side late model beds. i was wondering if any one new if a fleet side late model bed lets say from like a s-10 of 1500 would fit.

S-10 bed, not a chance. 1500 bed, yes, but as some people on the board will tell you, the wheel well openings do not match the original truck openings in the front. Most people won't notice, but some will. It's your truck, do what you think looks good. You are the one who has to be happy with it.

I saw one once. It was a sweet truck but the bed looked like crap. The curve of the body didn't match, and looked really bad.

Here is one with the fleet...I don't think I have the close up showing where the lines don't match.
Basicly the bottom stuck out too far and the center was tucked in. |

I think the step beds look ok. I don't like the fleet beds though. The lines don't match at all. The step beds line up closer and look cleaner.

And here is the late medel step bed...like stated before, the wheel openings don't even come close, and the bed has to be jacked up a bit to get the lower lines to come close. The bottom still sticks out too far IMO.

i've been wondering what a new late model chevy stepbed would look like. the new ones are more rounded.
