99+ 3rd row seat mounting.
Picked up some 05 tahoe 3rd row seats for the back of my 87 the other day. Got them for $60 off craigslist!
Anyone have any pics of how they mounted these seats. I know tvblazer78 has done it. His seat looked like one piece, but mine are seperate. My current idea is to just get 6 more pockets like the rear of the stock seat latches into and use those so the seats are still removable.

I believe that the Tahoe seat is 2 piece and the Suburban is a 1 piece.

Re: 99+ 3rd row seat mounting.
Mine is a one pice seat and I made the mounts for the seat myself and it is fixed not removable. I have seen some guys on the 76-72 therad do this before. look in the projects/blazer and you will find one. I will post up a pic for you..

Found this thread. Turns out the newer trucks use just a small bar bolted to the floor. It is not recessed into the floor like the stock seats. I found a set of brackets on ebay for $160!! I'm going to hunt the local yards since they just unbolt from the floor it will be easy.... Pics in about 5 years or so.....
