Didn't see before pics but it looks good now....
Shame it doesn't have the 74 grille still in it.

Re: New pics
Thanks for the kind words!
Here's what it started as last spring It started out as just grandpa's old farm truck, sitting since '97. It still has a ways to go, it needs inner fenders, a hood cab corners and rockers (and a Dana 60 up front) I too wish it had the '74 grille, i know where theres one and a full gauge dash (and a Dana 60 and complete front suspension) When I took those pictures today I buried it in mud, had to drag it out with the tractor, and still fought for traction after. I revved it up high and the carb float stuck open so it flooded, rapped on it with a hammer, all is well there. without the air cleaner on it makes a loud hissing/sucking noise, and motor just sounds odd. Tomorrow I have some time to mess with it, I hope I didn't screw anything up...

Re: New pics
had a duh moment, everythings fine with he truck. today i replaced the carrier bearing, are you supposed to line it up centered any particular way? i just eyeballed it. i also put on a new upper speedo cable, before it ticked and swayed 15 mph either way, now it tick and stays within 2 mph, but it still messes up my odometer. should I put on a new lower as well?

Re: New pics
Just pull the inner cable out of the housing wipe some grease down it and shove it back in, No special way on the carrier bearing that I know of.
