Will it bolt up?
Hey all,
I have a '58 Chevy Viking 60 with a '54 235 engine. After the compression test I have found that my engine has very little: 95,105,105,100,80,95! So what to do?! I either plan to rebuild the 235 or replace it with a 350. I have a 350 in my '76 chevy 1/2 ton that has only 25K. My question is will the 350 bolt up to my bellhousing in the Viking? Thanks for all your help! -Welder

Re: Will it bolt up?
You will need a V8 bell. They are still around on ebay and craigslist

Re: Will it bolt up?
V8 Iron Bell not Aluminum. The bottom two bolts go through the bell and thread into the trans on the iron bell just like your 235 bell does, on the aluminum the bolts go through the trans and thread into the bell.
