I have a 50 3100 2wd and a 71 nova sub frame can i put them together if so any guidance

There's a couple different ways it can be done.

Start searching the build threads here. There is more than one way to do it, and also examples of how not to do it from guys that bought botched donor frames. You might also take a look over at the HAMB board.
