2wd to 4wd

hey guys need some advice or help !! making a flat track mud truck.67 2wd chassis 64 body and 74 4x4 front axle.question putting manuel steering on need a pitman arm that will fit.the manuel box is off a 2wd.this is something new to me i dont want to have to change much cause i am trying to keep it looking original. anyone have any suggestions!!

The sector shaft (output shaft where the pitman arm goes) is different from the 2wd boxes to the 4wd boxes in the '67 and later trucks. The '66 and earlier 4wd trucks used a different style steering box that had a horizontal sector shaft. I'm not sure which way you want to go. The '67 and later box will bolt directly onto the '67 frame.

not worried about box bolting up need a pitman arm.the boxes i got will bolt rite up.

you need a 4 x 4 box unless you are going to cross over strg
