I am rebuilding my front suspension. Cpp tubular control arms with modular spindles. The control arms have 5 degrees of caster. Do i tell my front end man this or what?

Its probably a good idea to let him know but when I do a alignment I usually try to get caster a positive as possible with 1/2 degree more on the right side to compensate for road crown and get camber as close to 0 as possible. These specs work well for most applications.

I agree completely. Find an independent shop that does alignments, and give the info, as to what you did. It might take two trips to get it right i you have to redo anything, but it will be the heck out of the tire stores " set the toe an let it go " mentality.
