Thinkin 'bout baggin' the Tahoe?
I really want to bag one of my rides. I'm not 100% sure which one, but right now I'm leaning towards the Tahoe though.
Here are my thoughts: 1. I'm kinda on a budget (doing a slow house remodel too). 2. I don't wanna remove inner fenders or cut into the body anywhere. 3. The Tahoe is lowered roughly 5 1/2" Front & 7" Rear. Front: 2 1/2" Spindles 3" Springs; Rear: C-Notch, Shackles, Hangers 4. My wheels are 22x9.5 with 255/30/22's. 5. I would like to run 24x10 with 255/30/24's. 6. The only thing I haul is a quad on a 5x8 trailer Seeing how they probably won't fit right now without rubbing, I am considering doing a "Air Over Leaf" type in the rear with a heavy duty type bag (just enough to give me clearance to drive, and be slammed when I let the air out. For the front probably just bolt-in bags, plates and cups, with relocated shock mounts. Also just giving me enough lift to drive. Anyone have any opinions?

How much clearance you have in your wheel wells now?I don't think your going to get it lower then a inch maybe 2 before things start to rub.

Re: Thinkin 'bout baggin' the Tahoe
Thanks for answering up, alot of views and no comments..
I want it to be about this low aired out, and just high enough to drive aired up. Definitely not these wheels but this size wheel and tire though. I've had my Tahoe like 7 years now and I'm just tired of rollin on 22's, so just wanna go a lil bigger without really raising it up too much, but being able to slam it too.. I do like these wheels in this situation, normally they are not my style though... what do you guys think?

Re: Thinkin 'bout baggin' the Tahoe
Yours would look like the top one when you dump the air but it won't drive like that. But like i said see how much clearance you have now and that will be as low as you can get it.

Re: Thinkin 'bout baggin' the Tahoe
I'm as low as I could go right now on the 22's and still drive, but I wanna have that same fender gap on the 24's. And be able to set it right on the inner fenders. (Plus I would mind the 24' raising the clearance a little, so I could fit it over a lube bay to get my oil changed).
As far as liking my truck the way it is, Thank you! I'm bored of it having been this way for most of 7 years, so I need to do something different with it or I will totally lose interest. I have never kept a car this long, but I think these Tahoes will someday be a sought after classic, maybe like a C-10 (who knows).
