has anybody done a tbi 5.7 swap into a 67-72?

well im getting an 89 gmc sierra 1500 with a tbi 350 and a 700r4 but the tranny dropped 3rd 4th and overdrive soooo i guess ill be using my 4 speed granny tranny from my 292 and i have no clue how to wire it all up

Does your 67-72 wire harness have hookups for a computer? It's not that easy. The conversion wire harnesses are the way to go. Howell EFI makes good stuff.

Lots of people have used the original wiring and adapted it to work, just matters on your skill level. You are also talking about wiring that is 21 years old that has probably been cut into over the years and could be brittle from the engine heat. I used the Howell kit on one of my trucks and makes it easy to call them up when I have a problem using there harness to try and fix it. If you use hte original harness you are on your own.
