1969 blazer 4x4 rebuild
just curious what people door to replace rotting doors and a windshield frame that has pin holes.

well depends on the degradation(two dollor word of the day) of the doors. sometimes they are repairable. and pin holes in a windshield frame can be fixed as long as that is all it is... but if you have gotten moisture inside there could be rust you cant see.... which could be a bad thing... better pray that isnt the case.

just trying to piece back my buddy's blazer while he is away with the army. the doors are shot (rusted through where the hinge mounts). do you just modify normal truck doors to work with the blazer?

yes you can cut truck doors down and make blazer doors but the fitup is a little different i think... i beleive there is a thread on here that has it... check big j's build thread im pretty sure there is atutorial with alot of pictures for cutting doors. and there are alot of things you can do with it... if you have the time and patience... you could also do a 30 second door removal hinge set.... meaning that you can just lift the doors off when you want to for the open air look.. i know there is a tutorial on here on how to make them as well.

ps find an old set of original truck doors they seem to fit better than repops...
